Upon completion of his training Dr. Simon entered the United States Army Medical Corps. He served as Director of the U.S. Army Surgical Endoscopy training program, educating other surgeons in endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques of surgery. He has lectured on minimally invasive techniques both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Simon is a veteran of the first Gulf War. He moved to Las Vegas in 1993. He has built a reputation as a general surgeon with a practice emphasis on minimally invasive approaches to surgery whenever possible.

He is recognized nationally as a a leading general surgeon with special skills in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and laparoscopy. He remains on the cutting edge of minimally invasive surgical techniques.
